K9 Dog Vest

A working dog often moves ahead of the team: first into the building, first to find the suspect, first to detect the explosive. That also makes it the closest to the threat. A K9 vest has to bring the dog’s chest and torso under ballistic protection while preserving its greatest strengths, speed and agility. The cut is designed not to restrict shoulder and hip movement, and to stay in place when the dog runs and jumps.

The integrated harness gives the handler control and direction; MOLLE surfaces take lights, identification and extra equipment. The camera mount allows a camera to be fitted to the vest, so the dog becomes the handler’s eyes in places the handler cannot enter. Dogs shed heat differently from people, so vest weight and working time in hot weather must be planned for the mission. Choose the size to the dog’s measurements; ballistic level and size options are given in the product data sheet.
