Op 010Inspection · test
Op 010: Raw material acceptance
UHMWPE, aramid, ceramic and steel go through lot-numbered acceptance testing.

- Acceptance test

The production flow has seven steps: intake, design, machining, pressing, ballistic testing, quality control and shipment.
01 — Production route
The routing sheet has seven operations, each with a clear record of what is measured and logged. Ballistic test results are given in the test report and shared on request.
Key
Op 010Inspection · test
UHMWPE, aramid, ceramic and steel go through lot-numbered acceptance testing.
Measured · recorded
Op 020Operation
Ballistic simulation in CAD/FEM; multi-curve form and lay-up optimization.
Measured · recorded

Op 020 → 030
Every layer is calculated against a threat.
Op 030Operation
Ceramic shaping on CNC; production of molds and test fixtures.
Measured · recorded
Op 040Operation
UHMWPE and aramid layers are bonded under high pressure and temperature, with vacuum control.
Measured · recorded

Op 040 → 050
Undocumented protection is only a claim.
Here the route turns gold: Op 050, ballistic testing.
Op 060Inspection · test
Every part is labeled with a serial number and production date; digital traceability.

Op 070Transport
Delivery; user training and field support per project.

02 — Test method
Standards ask more than whether the round was stopped: they also measure how much margin the armor leaves and how much of the impact reaches what lies behind it.
What the standard requiresMIL-STD-662F
Under MIL-STD-662F, V₅₀ is the projectile velocity at which an armor has a 50% probability of being penetrated. It goes beyond pass/fail: it shows how much performance margin the armor carries above the reference velocity.
What the standard requiresNIJ 0101.06
44mm
NIJ 0101.06 · backface deformation limit
NIJ 0101.06 measures the depth of the dent formed in the clay backing block placed behind the armor. The limit is ≤ 44 mm: even when the round is stopped, the blunt impact passed on to the body is kept within bounds.
This section explains what the standards require; product-specific results are given in the test reports.

Environmental conditioning
Standards also define environmental conditioning before testing, such as temperature, humidity or submersion. Protection has to hold not only in the laboratory but in field conditions.

03 — Quality & traceability
Every part is labeled with a serial number and production date. From the raw-material lot to shipment, operation records are tracked digitally; documents are shared on request.
