ATM / Teller Armor Panel

In the finance sector, risk concentrates wherever cash is held or moved. At the counter, the teller works face to face with customers; when the counter front and lower sections are reinforced with armor panels, staff stay behind a continuous line of glass and panel protection. ATM body protection adds an armor layer for the machine’s casing and sensitive areas, since the machine often stands in an unattended space. Panel layout is planned around the branch floor plan and customer flow.

In cash-in-transit (CIT) vehicles, interior armoring protects the crew compartment, the cargo compartment and the passage between them. In these vehicles weight is directly tied to payload and driving safety, which is why light composite solutions lead for interior panels. The riskiest moment in a cash transfer is when the vehicle comes to a halt and the door opens, and the interior layout is designed around that moment. When counter panels are designed with ballistic glass, and vehicle interior armor with vehicle armoring, protection becomes a system. Level and layout are set by the institution’s risk assessment.
