Ballistic Eyewear

In the field, the eyes are among the most vulnerable points against small, fast-moving objects: blast fragments, ricochets, stone and sand. Ballistic eyewear puts an impact-resistant lens in their way. The eyewear is built to MIL-⁠PRF-⁠32432, the US military performance specification that sets requirements for the fragmentation impact resistance and optical quality of military eyewear. The right eyewear protects without compromising vision, because a blurred or distorted view is a risk in its own right.

The UV filter protects the eyes through long missions in strong sun: at altitude, on snow or in the desert. Interchangeable lenses adapt one frame to different light: a tinted lens by day, a clear lens at dusk or indoors. Choose eyewear together with the helmet, hearing protection and night-vision kit it will be worn with. A scratched or impacted lens should be treated as compromised and replaced, so carrying spare lenses in the mission kit is recommended.
